We’re so happy to share our newest plugin with you: ab Reverb

ab Reverb is a digital reverb with spatial properties, which add not only width but also height and depth to your signal with both early and late reflections that can be manipulated independently.

Whether you are working with a Mono, Stereo or Ambisonics source, ab Reverb will automatically adapt its input to whatever you throw at it. ab Reverb will then output a Stereo or Ambisonics signal so that you can later decode it to any speaker-array possible, from binaural all the way to Surround, Atmos, custom speaker arrays, anything!

ab Reverb’s internals work natively in Ambisonics, meaning you can apply spatial transformations to the reverberations for real psycho acoustic results… Have your spaces rotate towards any direction whilst you keep your source steady in the middle. Freeze your reverberations to create infinite pads, anything goes!

Independent Early and Late reflections help you configure each of the reverberations stages so that you can personalise your own spaces. Each of them with their own Size, Pre-delay, Damp, Density, and Wet control as well as a 1-band Parametric EQ.

ab Reverb comes with an innovative Preset system where you create your presets ONCE, and they are Cross-DAW and Cross-OS compatible! Meaning you can move your presets from Mac to Windows (or vice versa) and even share them with other users!

ab Reverb also comes with a ‘smart troubleshooting’ algorithm, which will check your signal chain and let you know if something is wrong with it.

With ‘ab Reverb’ you can:

• Work completely in Stereo whilst taking advantage of the psycho-acoustic characteristics sound takes when it’s being manipulated three-dimensionally.

• Blow-up a Mono/Stereo sound source to Ambisonics, and subsequently to any Surround, Atmos or Immersive format out there.

• Work natively with any Ambisonics signal (reflections happen at 3OA level).

• Apply Reverb and Mixdown any Ambisonics signals down to Stereo (reflections happen at 3OA level).

No matter if your input audio is in Mono, Stereo or Ambisonics, ab Reverb will automatically try to detect it. Regardless, you can also select manually.

ab Reverb will adapat the output signal to the width of your track automatically. Regardless, you can also select manually.

If your output is set to Ambisonics, you’ll be able to decode the signal to any speaker array configuration, from Stereo to Binaural, Surround formats (such as 5.1) and even Atmos (such as 7.1.2, 7.1.4, etc.)

‘ab Reverb’ comes with an Early and Late reverb that can be designed independently. Each with its own Size control, Wet volume, pre-delay, damp and density control.

Regardless of your Input or Output, the Reverberations can be rotated three-dimensionally, helping you achieve complete immersion.

EQ

Each Early and Late Reverbs have an independent 1-band equaliser that help you shape the sound of your spaces.

Universal Presets!

With our innovative Preset system, you can Save your presets and they will automatically load in any format (AU, AAX, VST3). Additionally, you can even copy or move presets between Mac and Windows systems. And why not, even share them!

Freezable!

Are you into sound design? You can absolutely freeze either the Early or Late Reflections (or both!) to manipulate them later (EQ, Rotate)!
